The Company was formed in 2003 and was transporting various types of export cargo into the SADAC region. In 2005 we moved into our new facility in Anderbolt, Boksburg. From there we branched out to include a weekly consolidation service to Malawi.


The fleet consist of brokered trucks from reputable transporters. The fleet mainly operate on the Johannesburg / Malawi / Zimbabwe / Zambia route  taking steel, fertiliser, maize, general cargo,  groceries and other commodities to the above destinations. Whilst delivering cotton, tobacco, timber, pulses, grains and other exports to South Africa. All our vehicles have state of the art satellite tracking devices allowing us to control the fleet efficiently and offer our customers up to date


The Company further offers local and international transporters a management service, which allows the firm to operate further and subcontract its own work to other reputable transporters who assist with our larger contracts.

Mr. John Wheadon is the Managing Director of the Company. The holder of certificate’s of professional competence in both national and international road haulage operations. He managed his own trucking fleets in UK / Europe until 1995 when he relocated to Africa to facilitate the formation of a new transport company “Tri-Continental Trucking”.
This company was designed to fulfill the ever increasing demands of donor based and commercial contracts. He evolved “Tri-Continental Trucking” (subsequently known as Central African Logistics) from a small locally based African transport company to a 70 vehicle fleet respected cross border company, responsible for the movement of major government agricultural projects as well as large commercial contracts.

He continues to be involved on a day to day basis in assisting in resolving existing logistical issues through the region with possible expansion and or refinement suggestions. 2011 brings exciting new challenges with a new depot & warehouse facility planned in Musina and the recent acquisitions of a refrigeration transport division.


The Falcongate staff members are professional, dynamic and challenge driven. There is an expanse of knowledge, with over 60 years experience collectively in the transport and logistics industry. The combinations of the above factors enable Falcongate to distribute its customer’s products more efficiently and cost effectively than its competitors.
